Ashley Vij is a seasoned global health leader with over 15 years of experience shaping the future of HIV prevention and reproductive health. As Executive Director of Root to Rise, she brings deep expertise in introducing and scaling biomedical innovations, building strategic public-private partnerships, and aligning investments with country priorities.

She previously led groundbreaking initiatives at USAID, including the introduction of next-generation HIV prevention technologies and the development of multi-million-dollar strategies to expand healthcare product options.

Ashley’s work is driven by a commitment to country-led solutions that reimagine how lifesaving products reach the people who need them most.

She holds an MPH from Columbia University and a BS in Public Health from The George Washington University.
