Advancing community-led demand generation for PrEP choice
Root to Rise is strengthening community-led demand generation models that help people understand, trust, and access the expanding range of HIV prevention options.
Peer ambassadors play a critical role in ensuring new HIV prevention options are understood, trusted, and used. With support from the Elton John AIDS Foundation, Root to Rise updated the HIV Prevention Ambassador Training Package and Toolkit (HPAT) to include long-acting lenacapavir (LEN) and support PrEP choice. We are now supporting implementation and learning to strengthen community-led demand generation for PrEP – helping translate new prevention options into real uptake while informing scalable ambassador models.
